Founded by John, Michele, and Rachel Barta, our mission is simple: create pure, natural, chemical-free skincare that supports healthy skin for both people and pets.
Our journey began with a belief that real skincare doesn’t come from a lab it comes from nature, tradition, and ingredients that have stood the test of time. We were inspired by ancestral recipes that relied on tallow, a nutrient rich, time honored ingredient used for centuries in skincare, soap making, weather proofing, and daily homestead life.
As we experimented with these old world formulations, we saw firsthand how 100% grass-fed tallow could transform dry, irritated, or sensitive skin. What started in our kitchen has grown into a small batch family business dedicated to creating products that are pure, effective, and deeply nourishing.
